Multiplayer Game Mode – Hide & Seek
Forza Horizon 5 is set to launch an exhilarating multiplayer mode named “Hide & Seek,” designed to bring a fresh twist to the game. This mode, inspired by the creativity of the Forza community, offers two roles for players: Hiders and Seekers.
Roles and Gameplay:
- Hiders: Your mission is to reach a designated location without being detected by the Seekers. Use your ability to blend into traffic and manoeuvre through the environment. Choose from a selection of robust vehicles like the 2012 Jeep Wrangler and the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. Your goal? Avoid detection and make it to your destination before the Seekers can fill their Detection Meter.
- Seekers: Tasked with identifying and tracking the Hider, Seekers must stay close to fill the Detection Meter. Armed with high-performance vehicles such as the 2016 BMW M4 GTS and the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Seekers must collaborate and strategize to win. The game is divided into two intense four-minute phases, where the first phase focuses on locating the Hider and the second phase on preventing them from reaching the End Zone.
Power-Ups
Both roles come equipped with special abilities to improve gameplay. Seekers have access to a Radar that points towards the Hider’s approximate location and a Ping ability to lock onto their position. Meanwhile, Hiders can activate Chase Breaker, which temporarily disables the Seekers’ Radar and Ping, allowing them to go invisible and drive through obstacles.
Matchmaking and Rewards
Join the Hide & Seek mode through the new location on your map or the Online menu. You can dive into the action solo or with friends in a convoy. As you play, you’ll earn exclusive XP, unlocking new badges and accolades tied to this mode. Frequent participation builds a play streak, granting bonus XP to level up faster.
The Jordan Luka 3 Collaboration
Adding excitement to the Forza world, the Jordan Luka 3 collaboration brings a custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro inspired by motorsport.
